Public Safety:
Group 14621 assists residents with organizing block clubs, neighborhood watch and other improvement efforts. Resident initiatives supported by Group 14621 include community gardens, civilian patrol (PAC-TAC) recruitment, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) coordination, and neighborhood celebrations and Conkey Cruisers. We are working with other partners and neighborhood residents to develop a pedestrian and bike trail through the neighborhood which will also have public art and pocket gardens.
R.I.T Public Safety Report: This report documents a Public Safety Assessment of the Rochester neighborhoods which comprise the 14621 neighborhood. The project grew out of a commitment to locally relevant research in the Master’s degree program in Criminal Justice at Rochester Institute of Technology.
